Pamela J. DeLuca, CFRE
Director, Church Division
Pam DeLuca received a B.A. from Hofstra
University. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising
Professionals New Jersey Chapter.
Prior to entering the development field, Pam
was a vice president for Bankers Trust Company in New York City. There
she managed an operations team and worked closely with regulators and
bank executives developing control procedures. While working on Wall
Street she developed and managed an annual program that provided
Christmas memories for children throughout New York City.
Pam’s leadership enabled the program to increase from 300
children and 150 volunteers to more than 3000 children and 800
volunteers in just seven years.
Upon leaving the world of finance, Pam has
worked with several non-profits in northern New Jersey, both as a
consultant and a volunteer. She has managed capital campaigns,
recruited and trained volunteer solicitors, researched private and
corporate foundations, written successful grant proposals, conducted
board training and supervised prospect management and solicitation. She
also has 10 years of special events experience through her work on Wall
Street.
Since joining Ruotolo Associates in 2001, Pam
has served as campaign and development counsel and assisted with
planning and feasibility studies with a variety of the firm’s
clients, including several Catholic parishes and high schools. Her
fundraising experience, commitment to furthering clients’
missions and ability to work with staff and volunteers have uniquely
positioned her to serve as Director of the Church Division at Ruotolo
Associates. As Director, Pam is responsible for meeting the
philanthropic and stewardship needs of our religious clients,
complimenting the individual culture of each community. In addition,
she will oversee all marketing efforts for the division.
Pam has conducted training sessions for
Partners for Sacred Places, New Partners/New Dollars, throughout the
Mid-Atlantic and Midwest areas. Specifically, she leads a one-day
workshop on the planning for and implementation of capital campaigns
for churches.
Pam, her husband, Steve, and
their three children live in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Pam is active in
her parish, where she is a member of the Stewardship Committee and
serves as a lay reader and Eucharistic minister. She is also active in
her sons’ elementary school parent association, serving on a
number of fundraising event committees. In 2003 Pam received the
firm’s “Tim Manning Culture of Excellence
Award.”
